The Apollo Joint Registry is an initiative taken by the Apollo Hospitals Group keeping in mind the need to strengthen the eco system of joint replacement surgery across the country. With thousands of successful replacement procedures benefiting people across India, Apollo Joint Registry would now be able to collate information and monitor the performance of the implants. This would ultimately lead to higher standards and practices as well as enable further research in this area of specialization.

Hospitals as well as surgeons across the country undertaking hip or knee joint replacement surgeries are brought under the umbrella.

Patients are requested for their consent to store and use their data in the registry

All cases including revisions are registered with Apollo Joint Registry.

Secure online systems are used to record information about the surgery, the patient and the implants used.

Apollo Joint Registry will link primary and revision cases so as to report implant survivorship and also to undertake patient reported outcome studies.

Stored data is subject to strict security protocols.

Analysts process the data and the same is published in aggregated format in as Annual Report
PATIENT CONFIDENTIALITY
Patient’s data will not be disclosed and this is explained in detail in the Patient Information Leaflets provided by Apollo Joint Registry.
SURGEON AND HOSPITAL CONFIDENTIALITY
Our privacy statement carries details of how the data is used and the protections that are in place around surgeon and hospital confidentiality. This data is only available to the individual participating surgeon or the nominated hospital user.
